Find your Shopify collaborator code

If you've contacted Maestrooo Support, we may ask for your Shopify collaborator code so we can request access to your store.

The collaborator code is a 4-digit security code that allows trusted Shopify Partners, like Maestrooo, to submit a collaborator access request. Sharing this code does not give us access to your store. You'll still review and approve our request before we can access your Shopify admin.

How to find your collaborator code

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Open the Security tab.
  4. In the Collaborators section, locate your 4-digit collaborator code.
  5. Copy the code and send it to the Maestrooo Support team.

Once we receive your collaborator code, we'll submit a collaborator request. Shopify will notify you when the request is ready for approval.

What happens next?

After we send our collaborator request:

  1. You'll receive a notification in your Shopify admin.
  2. Review the requested permissions.
  3. Approve the request if you're happy to grant access.

We'll only request the permissions needed to investigate or resolve your support request.

Can't find the collaborator code?

If you can't see the Security tab or the Collaborators section:

  • Make sure you're signed in with a user account that has permission to manage users and security settings.
  • If your store is part of a Shopify Organization, ask an Organization Owner or Store Owner to retrieve the collaborator code.
  • Some Shopify admin layouts may differ slightly depending on your plan or account configuration, but the collaborator code is always managed from your store's user security settings.

Frequently asked questions

Does sharing my collaborator code give Maestrooo access to my store?

No. The collaborator code only allows us to submit a collaborator access request. You'll still need to review and approve the request before we can access your store.

Why does Maestrooo need collaborator access?

Collaborator access allows our support team to troubleshoot issues directly within your Shopify admin without asking for your login credentials. This is the most secure way to provide temporary access to a Shopify Partner.

Can I remove collaborator access later?

Yes. You can remove collaborator access at any time from Settings → Users after your support request has been completed.
