Removing "Powered by Shopify" in Focal

All themes from the Theme Store (including Warehouse) must show a "Powered by Shopify" link in the footer.

We recommend you keep this link. Shopify has become a widely-known company, and showing this link in your footer can help to create trust with your customers, who will feel safe to shop in a store powered by Shopify.

However, if you prefer not to show this link, you can easily remove it.

To do that, in the theme editor, for the theme you wish to edit, click on the three dots "More actions" button, and select "Edit default theme content":

In the "Filter items" field, type Powered by Shopify to filter the sentences. Then, for the "Powered by Shopify" text, type a blank space as shown below:

Save the content.
